Fun With My Family

The weather was so beautiful on Wednesday afternoon, so we stuck Judson and Addie Bo in the car and headed to Tyler State Park late in the afternoon.  As soon as we got to the park, we rolled our windows down and let the wind blow through our car.  We drove through the lake front campsites and then parked and walked out over a bridge and started hunting for bugs. Judson came prepared with all his bug hunting gear.

Then we all headed over to the playground to have a little fun.

Then we went on a Follow The Leader Adventure with Dad.

Judson never found any bugs, but he found some sticks, leaves, and a gumball machine ring!
After we left The State Park, Dad took us to eat BBQ, and then we headed back home.  I love Tyler State Park and it was so nice to spend some time outside with my family. 

Poppy's Wedding

Jeremy's Dad got married in Sulpher Springs on Saturday.  Judson got all spruced up in his sport coat and tie for the occasion because he was going to be the ring bearer.  Addison was looking pretty cute, herself.

After the wedding, we all had lunch together and Jeremy and Judson enjoyed their favorite part of EVERY wedding... The Cake!

Fun Time Outside, FINALLY

So the temperature decided to creep up above 50 degrees today, so we headed over to The Stranges House to play outside.  We don't know what to do with ourselves in a backyard the size of The Stranges. We are used to one the size of Mom's car.  Miss Leslie blew up her bounce house and all the boys (and Leslie) had a fun time jumping.

Will and Judson did some man work and pulled some limbs around the yard.

Leslie tried to practice with Judson how to throw and catch a ball, so they could all play a little dodge ball.

The boys did some swinging.

Addie had a good time chewing on a stick and hanging out with Mom.

She also did some swinging and some sliding.

Thanks for inviting us over to play Miss Leslie.  It was so nice to play and enjoy the sunshine.

Toilet Paper Roll-a-Palooza and Other Fun

It has been too cold to play outside and there have been TOO many cooties spreading around out there, so we have spent a lot of time playing at home.  I have been saving toilet paper rolls for a while now, thinking we may come up with some cool crafts to do with them.  Thanks to Pinterest (of course), we made an octopus, some braclets, a snake, and a bird feeder!

We also did a science experiment with baking soda, vinegar, and food coloring.

Addison said, "All this is BORRRRING. When's it MY turn?"

So we rode around town in the truck together.

and we drug out all our tents and tunnels and played together.

and we had to show Addie the ropes and introduce her to french fries, chicken nuggets, and pop tarts.
