Doing a Little Gardening

Judson and I decided to plant a few flowers in some pots for fun today to enjoy a little fresh air on the back porch while we have warmer weather. Little Miss Addison was napping, so she didn't partake in this adventure. ;)

Juddy was so proud of his apron I made him wear so he wouldn't get too dirty.

He enjoyed dumping the soil into the pots and it didn't take me long to realize that Judson was picking off the flowers and throwing them in the pot. He didn't see any need in actually planting the flowers... He just wanted to throw the flowers in.

 I stepped off the side of the porch to water our flowers once we had them all planted, and when I came back, Judson had some soil on his lips. I guess he decided to take a sip of his coffee cup/ shovel.  If he wakes up in the morning and has grown a lot, I guess I will blame it on his taste of miracle grow potting soil. :)

Addison is here!

Sweet little Addison Kay Ables was born on Wednesday, February 8th at 7:54 am, weighing 8 pounds 3 ounces.  We are so excited to have her home with us and are still trying to adjust and get a routine down now that we are a family of four.  My Mom was a huge help entertaining Judson and cooking us some yummy meals... really she did EVERYTHING around the house as I spent a good week recuperating from my C-section.  I could not have made it without her help!  She and Judson have had a BALL together!
Jeremy has been such a wonderful husband and Daddy as well!  It is such a blessing to have such a supportive husband who is willing to do whatever he can to help.
Judson seems to be adjusting just fine to having a new little sister around... I am sure there will be some interesting times to come, but he has been very patient with Addison and I and the whole situation.

Showers for my Addie Girl

My MOPS Table was so sweet to host me a little table shower at one of my favorite restaurants, Sonoma Grill. We had such a good time visiting together and enjoying a great meal. Addison received some really precious gifts from these girls and I am so glad I have met all these wonderful ladies!

My Sunday School Class hosted me a baby shower at my friend Charity's House.  I was so completely overwhelmed at this shower in the most wonderful way.  All of these ladies are my closest friends and let me tell you, I left this shower feeling so loved and just overflowing with joy.  My friend Jennifer made Addison a charm book and hand-wrote specific prayers for Addison, Judson, Jeremy, and I.  It is something I will treasure forever. 
I absolutely loved every single gift I received for Addison, but I bet you AT LEAST 90 percent of the gifts I received for her were hand made.  I am so blessed to have such talented friends who sew, paint, crochet... you name it- I probably have a friend that can do it!  I can't wait for Addison to get here so I can share some pictures of her in the cute outfits, blankets, and items my friends made for her.  As soon as I get her room a little more in order, I will post pictures and show you the gifts I will display in her room!  By the way... little sweet Addison will be here next Wednesday!  We cannot wait to meet her!

 All of these ladies are either friends or family who are all pregnant at the same time.  My cousins Christi and Jennie, and my friends Leslie, Jessica and Kristin.

 My cousins and best friends, Christi and Lindsey.  Christi and I grew up best friends and are six months apart.  We are both now pregnant together and our babies will be three months apart!  Another generation of best friends/cousins!!!  She isn't finding out what she's having and it is KILLING me!!!

My friend Kristin and I are pregnant together as well. We are only TWO DAYS apart!  She is having a boy and I am having a girl. Kristin and I first met teaching together seven years ago.  We worked closely together teaching the same kids and sponsoring FCA together.  We continued to be friends after teaching and are now in Sunday School together. It has been so much fun being pregnant at the same time and having someone to be excited with as well as commiserate with on our aches and pains. ;)

Here's one more pregnant picture of Jeremy and I together. Check out that big o belly!  Dang Gina!!! This was taken last Friday night after we went out to dinner.  It's crazy to think little Miss Addison will be here next Wednesday!!! I can't wait!!!

Time to Unload the Phone Pictures!

Jeremy decided to take Judson and I out for breakfast at IHOP the other day and I let Juddy play with my necklace to entertain him.  He decided it would look better on Dad, than me.

 Jeremy just KNEW Judson would LOVE to eat a funny face pancake breakfast, but of course Judson wouldn't touch anything but the chocolate chips.

Here is Juddy's best bud Hallie. I cannot believe Hallie is so patient with Judson.  He just hangs all over her and pesters her all day everyday!

Judson borrowed this bucket from his Nanna way back at Halloween to hold his candy in while trick or treating. He has somehow decided that it is a hat and loves to wear it.  In this picture, he is sick with a double ear infection and feeling like poop- yet he is still sporting his bucket hat.

Like father like son... Jeremy gave me a warning that he might be about to hurt himself and he started doing head stands against the wall. Of course Judson thought this was the coolest thing his Dad had ever done, so he had to give it a try, too!

I get teary-eyed just thinking about how much I love these two!
