Entertaining These Young-ens

Today we met friends at the zoo. It was hot, but a lot of fun. After the zoo, we took over Dairy Queen for lunch and more play time. After ice cream, we headed home and needless to say, my kids are OUT. :) Fun times.

Fun In The Sun With The Hollis Fam

Judson and I scrubbed up the Walmart Pool and the water table and got ready for a fun afternoon in the sun. Judson really wanted some friends to play with, so The Hollis Family headed over to The Ables Waterpark in our front yard. ;) We had the pool filled up and the water table ready. Ashley brought a couple of sprinklers over to run through and voila! Fun times were had! We drug out the sidewalk chalk and Judson's Radio Flyer ramp and had an awesome time! Great friends, watermelon, grapes, and Capri Suns... What else do you need???

Fun In Frisco With Granmosh

After church on Sunday, we loaded up and headed to Frisco for the night to visit Granmosh. She has been dying for the kids to come up and swim in her pool and play croquet in her yard. (Croquet is something she and Judson always play together). Addison wasn't a big fan of the water. She is the total opposite of her brother when it comes to playing in the water. Judson had so much fun in the pool! He jumped off the side and played basketball and wrestled with his Daddy. The next morning, we all went to Granmosh's "croquet lawn" she made for Judson. We drank juice and ate watermelon. The kids painted with watercolors and played croquet (more like, played WITH the croquet set). We enjoyed our visit and can't wait to visit Granmosh again.

Eight Years of Marital Bliss...

And two days of completely blowing my diet! Yahoo! :) Jeremy and I headed to Shreveport Friday night for an early anniversary celebration.  This was only our third night we've had alone in four years, so needless to say, we were PUMPED! We went to dinner at Jack Binions and it was delicious! We had such a good time on Saturday (completely by accident). We were going to go over and check out a farmer's market we have seen several times before, but headed over only to find out this weekend was The Mudbug Festival! We ran into one of my high school friends and sat and visited with them and listened to some good music and ate some good cajun food. Jeremy had crawfish and gator on a stick. I had crawfish etouffee and a Natchitoches meat pie! Yum. There was also a Wake Fest Celebration going on on the river. Lots of college kids were competing in wake skating competitions and we got to watch a little of that. Such a fun time with my honey. Sure do love him and appreciate all he does for us!

While we were away celebrating our anniversary, Judson was partying with his school friends! It sounded like he had a great time at his friend's spiderman party at the splash pad! Addison hung out with her Nanna while Judson was busy partying. ;)
