Fair Food for Lunch

A group of us girls all went to the fair for lunch after sewing today. It was fun. We took the kids through some of the exhibits and let them look around. We all shared some curly fries and funnel cake and then headed home. Addie was ready to nap!

Cramps

You will understand the title of this post when you start to notice all of the delicious fair food in the background of every picture.

Dad was so fun. He took us all to the fair. And we stopped for food first. Be still my heart. We had one of everything... Nachos, pizza, sausage on a stick, funnel cake, good ol' sweet tea... Then we spotted the always fun Hollis Family and joined up with them for an amazing evening. Judson. Had. A. Blast. The end.

This boy loves him some Everett and those boys (and girls) had soooo much fun riding rides together, watching shows, and playing games. The fair is no longer just about food for this momma.

Fun Day with Cousins

We had lunch with Auntie T, Mamaw, and Cason today. Then they came back to see our new house. Cason and Addie did a little swinging together.

Then tonight, my Dad, sister, and nephew Jaden came over for dinner and to play. Jaden and Judson LOVE eachother. They had a B-A- double L.

Work Truck

Judson put in a hard day's work after church today. His Daddy mowed the yard, so Judson had to drive around and pick up sticks. Then he had to deliver and unload them to our stick pile. While Dad mowed, Judson found a random bungee cord and worked extra hard figuring out how he could use the truck, the cozy coupe, and the bungee cord to have a good time. First, he decided to strap the cozy coupe in the back and take it to be "fixed." Then, he attached the cord to the truck and the cozy coupe and pulled his sister around the yard. Then, he and his Dad dug up a dead bush and he hauled it off to the stick pile. All this hard work deserved a break in the hammock. (Make sure and notice how relaxing it looks.)

Addie just hung around looking purdy and playing on her swing set while her brother worked his fingers to the bone. ;)

$2.50 for A Lot of Fun

We bought a coconut at the grocery store earlier this week and decided that this rainy day would be a good day to have some fun figuring this thing out! We went to the back porch and used a hammer to crack it open. Then we broke it into small pieces and tasted it. Even Hallie had to give it a try. :) Then, we used our cheese grater to grate up the coconut. We finally went into the kitchen and turned our fresh coconut into a pie! Dad and Nanna were our guinea pigs after dinner and they said it was yummy! It was fun (and tiring) ;) to get the kids involved in exploring this fine fruit today. ;)
