My Vision. His Muscle

My friend Stephanie wants a bench made out of an old headboard and footboard, but she wants to buy it already made. I decided to search Pinterest and figure out how to make one for myself, so I could see how hard it is to do. So, I combined some ideas from pictures on Pinterest, bought an old bed off Swap and Shop, and VOILA! It was good for Jeremy and I to work together putting our ideas together and making it happen. I love it. And we will have it forever. A beautiful piece of furniture we created together.

Christmas Day

We celebrated here at our house Christmas morning. Santa brought Judson a guitar and Addison a tea set. They were both excited to open gifts and see what was in their stockings.

After we opened our gifts, we went to Nanna's house. We ate brunch at her house, she read a Christmas story for the kids and we opened our gifts. We spent most of the day at Nanna's house and had such a good time visiting and playing together.

We Were Able To Make It Happen

We went to Granmosh's Farm on Friday, even though we felt like doodie doo, and stayed for two hours and came back home to feel horrible. The stomach bug was hanging on and we couldn't kick it.  Mom was able to snap a few photos while we were there, but the smiles on my part were forced. I wasn't feeling so hot.

BUT- I talked Mom and David into coming to our house on Christmas Eve to open gifts and eat lunch. We opened gifts, went to lunch at Johnny Carinos and then hit the pinata (or kinyata as judson calls it) and then it was time for them to head home to Frisco. But I am so glad we were actually able to spend a little time together after all.

Take A Look At All The Smiles

The next day or two after our Christmas celebration with Poppy, JoJo, Meme and Papa- all but two people had a horrenous, and I mean horrible stomach bug that lasted much more than 24 hours for most.

But the night of our celebration was such a fun time. We ate taco soup for a change, and opened gifts. Addison played in Meme's purse and her lipstick. Judson and Lane had such a good time playing together. Aunt Ashley brought over her new puppy, Ollie. He was a huge hit with the kids!  Uncle Tim is always complaining about how cheap we are because we only buy 1 ply toilet paper, so I bought trick toilet paper that will not tear. I guess that'll show him. ;)

Big Man In The House

We converted Judson's toddler bed into a full size bed (with Addison's help, of course), and big Jud is loving it! He "needs" to go to his room several times a day now just to "hang out." Big man.
