Jesus Take The Wheel!

We spent a fun-filled day with Mamaw again today. Addison had her first popsicle. Jud had his 5 bizzillionth. Mamaw cooked us a yummy lunch and after playing with all of her toys, she took all of us on a Ranger ride! She piled up her patio furniture cushions in the back and we all piled in! Whose Mamaw has a bobbling hula girl attached to her Ranger??? This girl! After exploring the farm, she asked if Judson could drive. I said SURE, thinking she meant in her lap, steering the wheel. Nope. She let Judson take the wheel and steer AND push the gas pedal himself. We all 'bout died (ok... That's a little exaggeration) on that joyride! Christi really did just about do a somersault into the driver seat holding both babies, but Mamaw is up to rockstar status with Judson.

Party Time

Saturday was a day filled with fun. Judson and Addison had two birthday parties to attend, which was so exciting for Judson. One party was baseball and bubbles and the other was a pirate party! After both friend parties, we headed home for a quick nap and then went to Aunt Ashley's House for dinner and play time with family. Nanna brought an airplane and a bubble gun for Judson and some other fun toys for Addison to play with. Dad was able to get in some fishing time, which he deserves and loves to do. Today was filled with fun and we enjoyed every minute! Definitely not a waste of a Saturday!

Cason's Birthday and Time With Mamaw

We went to visit family and party with Cason since he is ONE! His birthday theme was Dr. Suess and Christi went above and beyond to make it the cutest party ever! Addison is easy to please and thinks any party with cheetos and sweet tea (she gets that from her mommy and likes her to share a sip every know and then) is the best party eeevvveeerrr. Judson, of course had a BALL and played with Porter and Tate until all his energy was gone. Alan read him a little Green Eggs and Ham before bedtime, which I thought was super nice.
The next day, we headed to Mamaw's Farm to play. Mamaw had casually mentioned something to Judson the day before about finger paint and he was quick to bring it up immediately as we walked in the door. Addison worked on some last minute tax preparations on Mamaw's giant calculator while he finger painted. ;). Dad and Judson did some fishing, and we fed the ducks with Mamaw's stale bread (or used it as sunglasses).
We headed back to Mamaw's on Monday because she is just too much fun. Christi and Cason came and brought some of Cason's new birthday toys for us to try out. Addison liked mowing the yard, and all three of them enjoyed Cason's new splash table. Judson showed them the ropes (Ahem... Took over) ;) and all of them got dirty and muddy and had a great time. Did I mention all the good food Mamaw made for us??? Her famous fried shrimp one day, and meat loaf, mashed potatoes, fried squash, and homemade peas the next! I look eight months pregnant again after all that! :) Buuuut... Well worth it!
