Toddler Bed Time!

About four days ago, Jeremy caught Judson on the video monitor JUST ABOUT to take a nose dive out of his crib, so we decided it was time to make the transition into his toddler bed. I didn't feel quite ready to make the transition, but the alternative was much worse.  He has been in his bed for three nights, so far and it is so cute to watch him once he has gone to bed. He seems like such a big boy now. He is sleeping with a pillow, too!  The only down side so far, is he thinks it's time to wake up every morning between 5 and 5:30.

Here is a picture of Judson and Jeremy trying out the Valentine candy that Grandmom sent Judson.  Judson would take a bite and then pass it to Jeremy for him to try. It was really cute.

More SNOW!

Judson and his Daddy wrapped up in their warm clothes and went outside this morning to play in the snow. Judson was LOVING it until he fell and got some snow on his face. He didn't like that AT ALL! We had plans to make a snow man, but Judson decided he had enough of this snow stuff after his fall.

My Daddy's Cowboy Boots

Judson's room is decorated with a cowboy theme and before he was born, Jeremy's mom gave me Jeremy's very first pair of cowboy boots.They are my very favorite decoration in Judson's room. Ever since Judson was tiny, Jeremy would randomly put those cowboy boots on Judson to make me laugh. Today Judson went in his room and pointed to those boots, so I got them down and let him put them on. We went to Hobby Lobby and out to eat wearing his Daddy's cowboy boots.  There's nothing like wind pants and cowboy boots.

Well, it's been a while!

Hello everyone!  It's been a while since I have posted anything new. Unfortunately, the stomach bug paid a visit to Judson and he has been down for the count.  This unwanted visitor came last Saturday and Judson STILL doesn't seem like his old self.
Today he has been pretty fussy. I'm thinking he's going to wake up in the morning with a full mouth of teeth! 
Judson is growing and changing so fast! He seems to say or do something new each time I turn around.  He has been sitting at his booster seat at the table lately. He wants to be just like his mommy and daddy and no longer seems to want to be in his high chair. He is saying so many new words. It's so funny to me, because so many of the things he is saying are not particularly words we have been working on. It makes me laugh that he says, "Bye guys!" 

He is such a sweetheart and I love him so much! I will try not to wait so long for my next post!

SNOW!

Judson and I took Jeremy to the airport today to leave for St. Louis.  It wasn't raining or anything!  This is what our house looked like when we got home.

As soon as we got out of the car, I bundled Judson up and took him outside to see snow for the first time.  It did snow last year, but Judson was too small to know what was happening. This time around, he LOVED it!  He kept trying to put it in his mouth and he loved to crunch it with his feet.  He cried and cried when I made him come inside.

Playtime with Friends

Judson's cousin Porter came over to play one day last week. Porter lives in Colorado and Judson usually only gets to see him on holidays. On this particular day, the boys really bonded. Judson fed Porter Goldfish and hugged him until they both fell on the ground.  Here is one picture from their adventures:
