"Dad! These are SWEET!"

Dad had the wonderful idea for us all to go to Edom to pick blueberries this morning.

We headed over to Blueberry Hill Farms in the morning and had a fun time filling up our bucket full of blueberries. Judson caught on quick and loved helping out. He would get ahead of us and yell back, "Dad! These are SWEET!!!"

 Addison rode along in the baby bjorn just bee bopping along and watching all the action. After we filled our buckets, we went inside to have a piece of blueberry crumb pie and a tall glass of blueberry lemonade. Once we left the farm, we had to stop at The Shed and have some lunch. We had such a great time together that we have decided to make it an annual trip!

Having A Little Fun

Judson has been feeling poopy and we've been stuck at home, so we have been having a craft-fest around here. 
Judson made what he calls "The Man." We drew a face on a clay pot and planted grass seed and have been watering it and checking everyday to see if he has grown hair.

Then we made some slime. (equal parts liquid starch and clear glue.)

We tie-dyed a shirt for Judson and of course a matching onesie for Addison!

We saw a king's crown on a cartoon and decided we needed one right away!

We went outside and had a fun time using Judson's birthday gift from Mrs. Jill, but the heat made our fever go up. Boo!

Juddy still isn't 100 %, but we are on the mend!  We have tried to make the best of our house arrest! :)

Gone Fishing

Last Sunday after church we decided to take the kids to the Athens Freshwater Fishery Center.  We have been before several times, but not since Judson became a fisherman. ;)
We decided to throw his fishing pole in the car and head on over for a good time. 

We headed on down to the pond and a nice lady wanted to get Judson's pole all geared up to catch a record setting catfish!  She also provided us with some delicious smelling stink bait. :/

No sooner had we casted our pole about 10 times, they came out to tell everyone we had to get off the pond because a lightning storm was headed our way.  I guess we will have to set a record next time.

I personally think he set the record for cutest fisherman. ;)

Lake Party

Our Sunday School Class had a social at The Green Acres Lake Property.  We all brought our families out for some fun in the water and hot dogs!  It is so fun to get together with all of our kids and see them play and have a good time together.  I truly love our class!
