No Time For Naps!

Well... Dad went bird hunting with Uncle Tim in West Texas, so the rest of us headed to spend the weekend at Granmosh's Farm.  Now, I must say... when I do ONE craft with Judson, I feel like super mom, but Granmosh goes above and beyond.  The following are fun times that Judson and Granmosh had in ONE day.  Just thinking about it makes me tired. ;)
They practiced drawing circles on a t-shirt with fabric markers.

They made sand dollar crafts using poster board, cotton pads, and barley.

 

They made bird feeders using pine cones, peanut butter, and bird seed.  Then they put them in the trees around the farm.

 

Then they made homemade paper.  They went on an adventure around the farm collecting flowers and seeds and "specimens" to put in their paper.

After their paper dried, they made their own ink out of berries and drew on it.

They blew bubbles.

Picked flowers.

Played Piano. (Judson dressed Mamaw and fixed her hair.) ;)

Played croquet.

And finally... They cooked biscuits and gravy for breakfast before we left to go back home to Tyler.

Whew! I need a nap after blogging about it all!  We had such a good time. This is the reason why Judson asks to go see his Granmosh everyday.  There is never a dull moment when they get together!

Kickin' Up Some Dust

We spent a hot evening out at Uncle Tim's catching grasshoppers and doing a little fishing.  Judson and Uncle Tim chased the cows on the four wheeler and had a great time just being rowdy boys.  Addison and I sat in our lawn chair and watched from afar.  Dad fished with Judson and played fetch with Hallie.

We also were able to enjoy a nice visit with The Satterwhite Clan, lately.  We ate dinner at 5D and spent the night at the farm.  The next day, the girls headed to Jefferson (and sweet little Cason), and the boys stayed around the cabin and did some fishing.

(Mom brought Judson some fun souveneirs from The General Store in Jefferson ;))

John Wayne

Judson's cousin Porter had a cowboy birthday party tonight and Judson had a BALL.  He went all decked out and ready to rodeo.

All the cowboys did a little digging in the sand. 

Lord have mercy, Baby's got her blue jeans on!  Addison went all decked out in her Wranglers.  The elastic was a little tight around her sweet little chubby legs.  That girl is already wearing tight jeans. :)

Porter had pony rides for all his cowboy friends.  Judson did not blink an eye. He jumped on that horse and held on and went riding off into the sunset.

All the men spent some time in the wild west.

We had such a good time.  Judson kept saying, "I want to go to Porter's party again." over and over and over the whole way home.
