Celebrating Birthdays at Nanna's House

I got some really cute pictures today at Nanna's House, so I have to share. We celebrated Uncle Tim and Aunt Ashley's birthdays today. Judson spent Friday night with Nanna and they had made gifts for them. Judson made Ashley a picture for her office at work, and he made Tim a guitar. 

Fun Day

Well we sure had fun today! First we did a little early morning junkin' and hit the jackpot.  Then we met friends at Judson's favorite spot, Discovery Science Place aka Science Kids. After a couple of hours of fun exploring there, we headed to DQ for lunch and more play time. We had such a fun day visiting and playing with our friends.

Good ol George

Ummm, excuse me- but I think I somehow forgot to blog about going to The George Strait Concert!

Last minute, my cousin ended up with an extra ticket and I am sooo lucky that she wanted me to go! It wasn't easy to make it happen, honestly-( from driving in from Frisco that day and Jeremy leaving the next for a hunting trip), but I WAS going to make it happen.

We met on I20, drove to Shreveport, ate mexican food and headed to the concert. Jason Aldean was also playing that night with good ol George. He was great, but George is the MAN. It was such a fun night and a real treat getting to spend time with my Tarn.

Crazy, but Fun.

I have this love-hate relationship with pinterest crafts.  I get sucked in, and I say to myself, "Uh... I can totally do this and I will not be defeated. " :) 

We attempted another pinterest craft. I never intended for it to get his bad, but they had fun, no one got hurt, and OMG- I LOVE how it turned out. It was twine, flour/water glue with red paint mixed in, tin foil, cookie sheets, and voila! LOVE.

Also- would you believe all the red came out of their clothes? No lie.

Granmosh Came to Town

Dad went on a weekend hunting trip, so we sweet-talked Granmosh into coming here to visit. My mother is a woman of all trades. She can fix anything, and will stick with something until she does. Because I know this about her, I greeted her with a list of "mother- please- do's". I would share with you all the things we accomplished, but you would get bored and quit reading. (I hope she will not be afraid to come back.)

Saturday morning, we set out on an adventure. We drove to Kilgore to see The Oil Museum, and Judson and Addison were totally creeped out. The picture of the puppet with the big eyes, good ol Professor Rock Bottom, will haunt them forever. When we got back to the car, Judson asked, "Mom, why was this part of our adventure???" Kind of like- what did we do to deserve this? Lol. Mom and I thoroughly enjoyed the museum, though. I guess this day was mostly our adventure, because next we hit Walmart, and then Country Tavern! Yuuummmooo!

We love our time with Granmosh so much and always look forward to the next visit.
