Well... we've gone to Shreveport, but this was our first family vacation where we flew with both kids alone without help. We all survived, but more than that- we had such a good time!
Our first day was a pool day. Judson LOVES the water and we learned that so does his little sister.
Our second day, Dad went on a fishing trip. We didn't get any pictures from this excursion because he came back empty handed, but he was glad he went.
Our third day, we all took a taxi to a different beach. It was very pretty and we had a great time. This was the day that Judson snorted ocean water and was snotty the rest of the trip. :)
The next day, we all had enough sun the day before, so we called the same taxi driver to take us on a tour of the island. This was by far, my favorite part of the trip. St. Kitts is a beautiful island and we saw so many neat things and learned so much from our driver.
We ate a local lunch at this little hole in the wall. And we are all still alive. :)
We stopped and bought a big ol bag of fresh mangos and a bunch of ginnips for a dollar from a man on the side of the road. Jeremy and the taxi driver enjoyed those. I ate a ginnip. It taste like a plum, but has the most interesting texture.
That night, the same cab driver (Anthony) came and got us and took us to eat at a local restaurant on the beach. The next day was a pool day. That night, Addie girl came down with her first cold. :(
We all had so much fun in St.Kitts and when we took our last trip down in the elevator, we all felt a tinge of sadness to be leaving.
