Just Horsin' Around

We've had a pretty fun week.  We went to the zoo on Monday and had a good time.  Judson did a little farming.

We went to Sonic and got some sand in every crevice we have.

We also made a trip to Chuck E Cheese, but this wasn't just any trip... Addison got in on the fun this time! AND Judson got to hug Chuck E, himself.  We were star struck. ;)

I can't wait to see what Friday brings...

To Pawpaw's House, We Go!

On Sunday after church, we headed to Lake Athens to visit my Dad. It was a last minute visit, and I joked that we picked a great day because he had smoked three slabs of ribs! Yum Yum.
We got to also see my sister and my nephew, Jaden.  Judson and Jaden had such a good time playing together.  They played with toys...

Judson fell in LOVE with this dragon toy and told Pawpaw, "Pawpaw, can I have a dragon for my birthday????"  When we were leaving, sweet little Jaden told Judson he could have his dragon and take it home with him.  Melt my heart.

Dinosaurs, Sharks and Chefs, Oh My!!!

On Halloween evening, we all headed to Bodacious for some 99 cent sloppy joes, and then we all moseyed on over to Nanna's house for a little trick or treating.  I made Judson a chef costume this year for Halloween since he has really seemed to enjoy cooking lately. 

He had not forgotten how much he liked trick or treating last year.  There was no fussing over putting on his costume or anything.  He kept his eye on the prize and knew he would get lots of chocolate!!!

Addison just tooted right along with her Daddy.

We stopped for a quick photo shoot with Addison.  Judson waited until no one was paying any attention to him, and he decided to take as much candy from the neighbors candy bucket as possible. ;)  We caught him just in time.

 Judson loved dressing up for Halloween this year, and Addison didn't mind wearing her costume not one bit.  Each year gets more and more fun!

Judson's School Costume Parade

Judson got to dress up for school today in his Halloween costume.  He went dressed as a shark!  As soon as we walked up, his friends Hannah and Marley were screaming and yelling SHARK!!!  Judson eventually told Hannah, "Hannah- It's only a costume." :)

During the costume parade, his class sang Five Little Pumpkins and Hannah was singing and doing the hand motions so well, and my Judson was turned around trying to bite her like a shark. :)

They got to have a party at lunch time today and apparently Judson had a sugar high and didn't take a nap. :) He eventually crashed after he got home.  He must have had a great time at his class party because he woke up and told his Daddy he was going to school this morning. :)

Tate's Halloween Birthday Party

Juddy Boo's cousin, Tate had his second birthday party Friday night, and it was a costume party.  Jud went all dressed up as a dinosaur and Addie was a skunk.

There were a lot of fun activities for the kids.  They had a scavenger hunt and a hay ride.  During the hay ride, Sponge Bob jumped on for a ride. Tate and Porter are big Sponge Bob fans.

Addison hung out with her Daddy most of the night.

We got a quick picture with cousin Cason, but he was pretty hungry and not in the mood for a photo shoot.

Once again, Auntie T threw an awesome party and we had a great time!

Fun With Nanna and The Texas State Railroad

While Dad was having fun with his friends for our Sunday School Men's Night, Nanna came to spend the night with us.  Friday night, we went out to eat dinner and made a shopping trip to Dollar General for a Halloween Candy Bucket. :)
After we got home, Judson and Nanna made pumpkin shaped sugar cookies and decorated them with icing and candy corn. 

Uncle Tim stopped by for a surprise visit and got in on the fun.

Late that night, as Dad was gone- two of our fire alarms decided to run out of battery and started beeping very loud after both kids had gone to sleep (isn't it always when Dad is gone that things like this happen???)!!! Nanna brought in a ladder and saved the day- all without waking up either baby! 

Saturday morning, Aunt Ashley came over and we all headed to Rusk to ride The Charlie Brown Pumpkin Train.  I decided to make indian costumes for Judson, Addison and I so we all went dressed up for the occasion.  We had a 20 minute train ride to the pumpkin patch.  I must say, I totally thought the whole day was worth the money!

and knocked on all the doors and said, "trick or treat!"

Nanna and Judson went on a hay ride.

We brought home two pumpkins with us.

They had a corn dog stand, a man singing, and lots of games.  Judson gave the bouncy balls a good try. 

We met Snoopy in the flesh!!!

After a 20 minute ride back to the depot station (Addison was all tuckered out), we all headed back to Tyler.
