Fun in Frisco with Granmosh and Grandad

We headed to Frisco Tuesday morning to spend the night with Granmosh and have some fun. We had a yummy lunch at La Madeleine, went home to rest and then had dinner at Jinbeh which is like Shogun here in Tyler.  We smuggled in happy meals because neither one of my little peeps would eat it. Judsonloved every  second of the dinner "show" and wanted to go back there for lunch the next day.  Addie- not a fan. All it took was a flame of fire to head her direction and she was ready to peace out. Both of them tried their hand at chopsticks. :)

The next day, we made a trip to Joanns, which is always fun for me. After lunch, we headed over to The Great Wolf Lodge. Judson thinks this place is heaven. He loves evverrytthiiinggg about it. Granmosh spoiled the kids and got them a kids camp room, which has bunk-beds that look like they are sleeping at a camp. OMG. Judson was amazed. We changed into our swimsuits (or mu'umu'u in my case) and headed straight to the water park to do our best cannon balls. After our fingers got pruney, we dried off and headed to the arcade. Total fun for everyone. Judson actually won prizes himself and Addie racked up on some tickets. We had dinner at the hotel and then taped up the kids eye lids ( and mine) to stay up and go to story time in the lobby. The kids were completely mesmerized. They had mechanical animal characters that sang songs and told stories. Then Oliver the raccoon came out to hold a book for one of the workers to read for the kids. Addie practiced a little of her interpretive dance on the floor during the show and they both loved story time so much!

We had such a great time on this visit. Thank you, Granmosh and Grandad!

My Vision. His Muscle

My friend Stephanie wants a bench made out of an old headboard and footboard, but she wants to buy it already made. I decided to search Pinterest and figure out how to make one for myself, so I could see how hard it is to do. So, I combined some ideas from pictures on Pinterest, bought an old bed off Swap and Shop, and VOILA! It was good for Jeremy and I to work together putting our ideas together and making it happen. I love it. And we will have it forever. A beautiful piece of furniture we created together.

Christmas Day

We celebrated here at our house Christmas morning. Santa brought Judson a guitar and Addison a tea set. They were both excited to open gifts and see what was in their stockings.

After we opened our gifts, we went to Nanna's house. We ate brunch at her house, she read a Christmas story for the kids and we opened our gifts. We spent most of the day at Nanna's house and had such a good time visiting and playing together.
