Our Trip to the Zoo

Judson has been talking about alligators all week long, so we decided to take him to the zoo today to see some!  We got at the zoo around 9:30 and it felt great outside!  This trip to the zoo was a fun one for Judson because he rode on Daddy's shoulders most of the time, so he got a better view of the animals than he normally does. 

Judson really enjoys feeding the ducks and the fish and he loves the wild bird walk-about.  His Daddy wasn't too interested in seeing the wild birds, so I took Judson in to take a peek.  We found two little girls with their Daddy and one was crying her eyes out. She was so afraid, she dropped her birdseed stick, so Judson seized the opportunity and decided it would probably be OK not to waste her Daddy's money, so he had a great time feeding the birds.  We offered to take a picture of the family, so at least Judson had to work for his birdseed stick he found.

I think this was Judson's very favorite exhibit at the zoo... one of those souvenier penny smasher machines. We didn't even put money in it; He just thought he was getting to drive a car!

It started to warm up pretty fast, but we had a great family morning at the zoo. As soon as we got in the car, Judson got really quiet and he had passed out in the car seat. I guess our zoo trip had worn him out!
