A little Off-Roading

On Sunday afternoon, after a good nap- Judson, Dad, Hallie and I decided to pile in the truck and head out to Uncle Tim's Farm for a fun-filled evening! (try saying that 3 times really fast)
We brought Judson's truck so he could do a little mudding. :) 

Judson brought his gun just in case we ran across any critters.
Dad built us a campfire.

 and Judson found a mud puddle to run in when no one was looking.

We took a nacho break and then headed in the woods to wait for the sunset to see if any ducks would fly over head.

After dark, we bent our coat hangers and roasted weinees for hot dogs. We also made smores!

 We had such a good time hanging out as a family at Uncle Tim's Farm! It was kinda like a camp-out, except we got to come home and sleep in our warm beds!

Another visit with Grandmosh

Jeremy had to leave the state again for work, so Judson and I took him to the airport to catch his flight...

and then we headed to Grandmosh's Farm to spend one night. Grandmosh built us a fire and we did all the fun activities we weren't able to do at our original Christmas visit. We hit the cowboy boot pinata.

 Grandmosh bought Judson some animals to play with...

and he had a few more presents to open from Christmas. Judson is fascinated with glasses right now!

He and Grandmosh built a gingerbread house...

We ate breakfast the next morning, watched Frosty the Snowman together, and then headed to Tyler. Grandmosh spent a couple of nights with us in Tyler and then she had to head back to Frisco. We had such a great time visiting with her. I thought Judson was going to have a melt down when she left.

Safari Fun

Judson, Dad, Mom, and Nanna made a trip out to The Cherokee Trace Drive-Thru Safari and had a wonderful time. Judson loved feeding the animals, but after a while, it took something other than deer to hold his attention.

 The picture above cracks me up because Jeremy was playing Mr. Cool... "Here, dude...take some food." and the next thing you know the camel just about swallowed his face whole. I laughed so hard!

New Years Fun with Family

Jeremy, Judson, and I spent most of New Year's Eve just relaxing around the house. Around six o'clock, we decided to head to Longview to eat homeade lasagna at my Aunt Travonda's House.  Porter and Tate were there, so Judson was excited to have his cousins to play with.  My cousin and her husband, as well as my Mamaw were there to take part in the fun. Also, Lindsey and her boyfriend.

On our way to their house, we stopped at a fireworks stand and bought us a nice arsenal of snaps for Judson and Porter to pop and we bought some army tanks and chickens and smoke bombs for Dad to pop for the kids.

 Before we headed outside to pop our firecrackers, I asked Mamaw if she was coming and she decided she would sit inside for a while.  Judson wasn't having it. He walked up to Mamaw and grabbed her hand and tried to pull her outside.  When she stood up, he said, "Mamaw, I want to hold you!" and made Mamaw carry him outside.  I guess Mamaw was going to have to come out after all!

 Uncle Sam, Alan, and Justin put on a nice fireworks show for us.  Judson's reaction cracked us up!  He screamed with delight every time a big pop would occur in the sky!

After our fireworks fun, we all headed in to watch Shrek.  We all made it until 10 and then decided we would all turn in for the night.

The next morning, we all woke up and ate a yummy homemade breakfast made by Auntie T. Dad made Porter and Judson "sandwiches" and built a fort out of the TV pillows.

Uncle Sam and Tate decided it was time for a nap.

Once again, we had another great visit with family at The Satterwhites!

Play Time with Kylie

Judson and I went to lunch with my friend Kay and her granddaughter, Kylie. We decided to meet at Yamato for some yummy food. Judson tried to eat his lunchable with his chopsticks.

At one point, he was sliding his bologna on his chopsticks like a skewer and bologna went flying in the air. I guess he thought he would show our chef that he had skills, too.
Kyle got lots of new chapsticks for Christmas, and she kept wanting to share them with Judson. I guess he thought this was really cool because he and Kylie became fast friends. Everywhere they would go, they would hold hands.  They both loved the fish pond at Yamato.

It was a beautiful day in December and they were playing so well together, we decided to take them to Sonic to play.  This trip cracked me up. Kylie and Judson took off their shoes and went wild in the sand.  Judson rolled around like a roly poly and made sand angels. It was like he was saying, "Mom! I really needed this!"  Mrs. Kay bought Judson and Kylie some cups and spoons and they played in the sand and had a great time. We had such a good time playing with Kylie and we hope to see her again soon.
